Conditions
These are the conditions of the permit. Once the permit has been reviewed and approved you must print the PERMIT, or CONDITIONS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, sign it and upload back to the submittal. The signed permit must be received prior to any inspection requests.
SPECIFIC WORK TO BE PERFORMED: Bore 100 feet across Commerce Pl from Industrial Pl, crossing City and private utilities between 5225 Industrial Pl and 1390 Commerce Pl.
All work must be performed in accordance with the Standard Plans and Specifications of the City of Ferndale.
This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 90 days, or if construction work is suspended or abandoned for a period of 90 days at any time after work is commenced.
A Traffic Control Plan must be submitted to the City for review and approval prior to any traffic impacts and prior issuance of the permit.
Utility trenching and/or cutting of City streets will not be permitted unless the applicant can show that alternatives, such as boring, jacking or relocation outside of the paved area are not feasible.
DEVIATION FROM APPROVED PERMIT: Any deviation in work from the approved permit and plans require prior review and approval by the City of Ferndale Public Works Department.
This permit may be revoked if the proposed use is inconsistent with the City’s future right to utilize the property for street purposes. If such work shall be deemed in need of removing at a later time, such removal shall be at the total expense of the applicant and/or abutting property owner.
A copy of the signed/approved Revocable Encroachment Permit and any associated plans must be available on site at all times.
Public and private utilities may be in direct conflict with proposed work. Contractor is responsible for verifying depth and locations with the City inspector on site. City inspection may require potholes for verification.
Any sidewalk closure will require a pedestrian detour, or a contractor supplied escort to safely route pedestrians around construction zone.
24 hours notice prior to the start of any work is required for inspections. Call 360-815-2889.
Only work specified herein is authorized by this permit. Any work outside the scope of this permit is prohibited and will be subject to a stop work order and possible civil penalties.
I hereby acknowledge that I have read this permit and agree to comply with all City Ordinances, The City of Ferndale Municipal Code and State Laws regulating activities covered by this permit. I understand that failure to comply with this permit, conditions of approval, inspection or codes in place at the time application was approved will result in penalties and/or fines pursuant to the Ferndale Municipal Code. I acknowledge that this permit, and any of its conditions represents the final determination of the City of Ferndale and may be appealed within 10 calendar days of the decision pursuant to the Ferndale Municipal Code 14.11.070.
